The three-story, 30-unit apartment project was developed by MetroPlains Development in northeast Minneapolis (behind Holy Land Bakery on Central Ave.) Audubon Crossing will provide 26 affordable workforce units and an additional four units available for homeless families. Families Moving Forward, a faith-based nonprofit, will screen and place families in need. Design services were provided by DJR Architecture, who is submitting the project for LEED Silver certification. The project was managed by Joe Winkelman and Mike Monson with Tim Johnson as project superintendent.
